Fear immobilizes and overwhelms. It is a disabling condition that we have all suffered with for thousands of years. But we can take comfort in knowing that the outcome of whatever we are battling rests on God’s performance, not our own strength and skill. With this knowledge, we can be strong and courageous.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense. He will come and save you. 2 Chronicles 32:7
Christians are called to have courage. We are commanded to be strong and courageous. A cowardly spirit is of no use to a Christian whose desire is to obey God faithfully. Prayer is the main line that leads straight to the throne of God. The seemingly feeble position of prayer appears as weak, but in truth, mighty preparation is taking place. Prayer enables us to approach God with the humble boldness of faith, to take hold of His blessings and arm ourselves with heavenly weapons.
Wake up to the dangers of your sinful state! Pray and equip yourself for your walk on this earth is filled with difficulties. It is a fight against the enemy for every mile along the way. Do you dare to take heaven by force?
